We moved! March 5th was the day. We had all the boxes packed and loaded into the Uhaul trailer (that I pulled behind the denali) by the time the movers showed up at 1. They wrapped and loaded the furniture into the uhaul truck (that Scott was driving). It took forever! I think we finally pulled out about 5pm. I had vacuumed and wiped everything down as they cleared rooms out so once they were done we put Raider and Kellis in the trucks and were gone. We got to our new house right around 9pm. It was so insane. I have NEVER pulled a trailer before, so a 4 hour drive with all of our belongings and a baby in the backseat was the white knuckle ride of my life. Its a good thing we had that denali though, she was a trooper. We set up the pack n play, aired up the inflatable mattress and crashed. Scott had all of the boxes unloaded Sunday by the time the movers showed up here to unload. They put all the furniture in the house for us and then we were on our own! It is a huge house and we LOVE it. Its so nice to have room to move around, store stuff and have company. Its a lot to clean but I have time and am so efficient, its no big deal at all. We only have furniture for one guest room, but there are 2 empty rooms if you want to donate a bed and bedding. We arent going to purchase any furniture until we buy a house, as we dont know how much room we may have down the road. We are hoping to buy this house or one similar so we can grow into it but time will tell. We are on a golf course, which is fantastic. We dont have backyard neighbors and one side is a creek so we dont really have side neighbors either. It is a LOT of landscaping upkeep for Scott but I think he is just glad to have a house, garage and yard again. OH and the garage is 3 car, praise the Lord. Finally everything fits fairly well. He has a work truck so one of our suv's just sits (I switched to the explorer for a couple weeks). We will probably end up selling the explorer. Its almost paid off and we love it so we hate to sell it but he will have a company truck and eventually car for as long as he is with his company so we really dont need it. I didnt take any inside pics of the house, Scott said you had to come see it yourselves. haha I got some of the yard though and if you know the address you can find pics out there from when it was for sale.
